Solid State Boost for Your Ride

Are you tired of messing with a fiddly manual boost controller that never holds pressure properly? Or maybe you have spent thousands on a complex Electronic boost controller just to stare at confusing error codes all day. If you have been searching how to increase turbo pressure without blowing a head gasket, your search ends right here.
This isn’t just another cheap universal turbo kit in a box; it is a revolution in high performance boost management. Our scientists compressed 14.5 PSI of atmospheric pressure into a stable, solid bar that simply sits in your airbox. It is the only way to add boost to naturally aspirated engine setups without complex plumbing or fiddly electric fans shoved in ahead of your poor throttle body.

Your car deserves some unnatural aspiration.

Benefits

  • Instant spool means you never wait for turbine wheels to spin
  • Universal fitment allows installation in any airbox regardless of shape
  • Solid state induction prevents pesky vacuum leaks and hose failures
  • "Safe" for all engines including rotary and diesel configurations
  • Electric vehicles won't know what hit them when you whoosh by

Specifications

  • Material: Compressed Atmospheric Density Block (Grade 8)
  • Pressure: Variable sublimation based on intake temperature, but approximately 14.5 PSI or 1 bar
  • Scent: High Octane Blue Raspberry Mist. Not for human inhalation
  • Compatibility: All naturally aspirated and forced induction vehicles

Overview

If you are looking for a stage 2 turbo upgrade but lack the mechanical skill to install piping, you aren't alone. Traditional forced induction relies on gas dynamics, which are prone to leaks, lag, and general disappointment. The Bar of Boost bypasses physics by acting as an Instant boost response mod; it sits in your air filter housing and sublimates directly into pressurized oxygen as the engine warms up. It is scientifically proven to tear you a new blow off valve. This can even be inserted into the tailpipe if the airbox is inaccessible.

We designed this product as the ultimate solid state induction kit for the discerning modifier who hates wrenches. While other drivers worry about boost creep, you will enjoy linear power delivery provided by a slowly dissolving block of blue potential energy. The chemical reaction between the bar and your intake air creates a denser charge than any intercooler could dream of achieving. It turns your air filter into a veritable power plant. Some sort of metaphorical plant that uses a turbine, we forget what it's called.

Smart drivers know that asking if it's safe to increase the boost on a stock turbo is the wrong question. The right question is whether your tires can handle the torque of solid-state pressure. By eliminating moving parts, we eliminate failure points, making this the most reliable upgrade for your daily driver or track toy. It is time to stop playing with air and start driving with mass.

Application

This product is designed for any internal combustion engine that consumes air, from lawnmowers to supercars. It is particularly effective for drivers who want to add boost to naturally aspirated engine bays without cutting holes in their hood. Whether you drive a drift missile or a commuter sedan, the Bar acts as a universal pressure adder.

🔧 TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN: Bar of Boost for engine use only. Do not attempt to vape Bar of Boost. Any attempt to vape the delicious, blue raspberry mist boost (Again, it's so delicious) will result in spontaneous respiratory explosion. We warned you.

Step 1: Environment Scan

  • Check for existing turbo plumbing or airbox inlet (exhaust pipes in a pinch are OK)
  • Verify the airbox has a lid
  • Rev engine and listen for hissing sound from turbo (if applicable)

Step 2: Surface Prep Remove your air filter cover and clear out any leaves, debris, or small rodents nesting there. Ensure the surface is dry so the bar does not activate prematurely. Rodents of unusual size may also be removed at your own peril.

Step 3: Mounting Place the Bar of Boost directly onto the air filter element, ensuring the blue swirl faces the intake tube. Close the airbox immediately to trap the building pressure.

Step 4: Aesthetic Verification Step back and imagine the horsepower you have just added to your machine. Listen closely; if the engine bay is silent, the pressure is holding.

Fail: You hear a whistle. Action: Tape the airbox shut with duct tape.

Pass: The car looks faster just sitting there and it goes psssht psssht.

⚠️ SAFETY NOTICE: Please follow all safety protocols outlined in Bulletins 404, 418. Ensure vehicle is in Park and engine is Off unless you enjoy excitement and hate your fingers. Note: These instructions are proprietary to KaleCoAuto; applying them to generic products may result in catastrophic failure.

FAQ

Why is my turbo not building pressure?

It doesn't have to. You don't even need one. Just keep feeding it bars and you'll be just fine, probably.

Is this the solution to turbo lag?

The only turbo lag you will experience here is the time it takes you to insert the bar of boost into the appropriate vehicular orifice.

How can I tell if I have a boost leak?

You'll be greeted with the sweet and delicious of Blue Raspberry Mist. It is critical that you do not inhale. Your lungs have no blow off valve.

Will this cause turbo flutter?

No! In fact, the only time we saw this was during an unfortunate incident with a lepidopterist. Note for WRX owners: that means butterfly collector.

Do I need a turbo or supercharger to use this?

No! Who wants a whiny old supercharger anyway? These work fine with naturally aspirated engines.

Can I use this with an EV?

As long as you're prepared to deal with the consequences of an inflated battery pack.

Disclaimer

May cause intake manifolds to smell distinctively like blue raspberry mist. Extended use may result in excessive tire smoke and speeding tickets. Do not use in the shower unless you want to accelerate your hygiene and visit to the coroner. KaleCoAuto is not responsible for blown head gaskets caused by excessive solidity. If the bar lasts longer than 4 hours, call a mechanic. Not for use in your vape pen.

Definition

Bar of Boost
honorary verb | /bɑːr ɒv buːst/

A solid block of compressed atmospheric pressure designed to sublimate into horsepower. The physical manifestation of "there is replacement for displacement," except it fits in a box.

History

The History: In the early days of automotive engineering, boost was a nebulous concept involving dangerous spinning fans and hot exhaust gases. Early pioneers struggled with the turbos glowing red hot like something was about to explode, leading to a century of fear. Mechanics would spend weeks trying to diagnose poor throttle response, often (correctly) blaming ghosts in the machine. But that's too spooky to talk about.

Modern Day: Today, drivers are tired of chasing vacuum lines and interpreting ECU data like it is ancient Greek. The modern enthusiast doesn't want to spend their weekend diagnosing a P0299 condition, they want to drive. The garage has moved from a place of grease and oil to a place of clean, solid upgrades. Upgrades that smell delicious, but are unsafe to inhale.

The Legacy: KaleCoAuto recognized that air is simply too thin to be reliable, so we invented the Bar of Boost to solve the density problem once and for all. We bridged the gap between soap manufacturing and automotive performance. This product stands as a testament to our commitment to making car modification as easy as doing laundry.
